Kimberly Rorick
Stylized interpretations of the human form would best describe my work. My figures are likely to be adorned with fish, birds, cats and headdresses created in a stylized manner. Most of my pieces are inspired by specific themes, for instance, cat lover, nature inspired, bird watching, etc.

BIOGRAPHY
I began my love for ceramics later in life when I returned to school after raising my four children. I attended IPFW where I earned a BFA from Indiana University.
I started my journey in clay by making functional pottery. After about 15 years of making and selling pots I began to get a little burned out. We had a themed exhibit at the Orchard Gallery called 'Art Becomes Her’ and this inspired me to change my direction to sculptural clay.
I have been a participatory member of the Orchard Gallery in Fort Wayne since 2002, including serving as treasurer since 2003.
I currently sell my work at art fairs and a few galleries.
