Anita Trick

I create representational paintings, many of life in Indiana. I enjoy painting old barns, covered bridges, lighthouses; birds, butterflies, and flowers; trees at various times of the year; fountains, fish, waterfalls, and the ocean; and people involved in activities or dressed in period costumes. My paintings are colorful, celebrating the beauty of what man and God have created.

I have drawn and painted from the time I was a child, buying my first oil painting set when I was nine years old. After retirement from high school teaching in California, I moved to Indiana in 2000. I have taken classes in oils, pastels, watercolor and acrylics from various local and out-of-state artists to further my advancement.
